Ameen
Sayani has been consistently
making very rich and singular contributions
to broadcasting over All India Radio
and television (Doordarshan) in India.
He has been keenly involved in and greatly
interested in the development of radio
and television programmes and has been
assisting the Government of India in
this field in various capacities.
He has also been responsible for the
propagations of Indian Programmes overseas
thereby raising the image of our country
in the world.
Ameen Sayani has thus distinguished
himself as an Eminent Old Boy of the
Scindia School.
The Scindia School confers on Ameen
Sayani the Madhav Award as an Old Boy
of Distinction for the year 1985.
