Dushant
Singh has been a commissioned
officer in the Indian Air Force as
a Fighter Pilot for 39 years rising
to the rank of Air Chief Marshal .
He has over 8000 hours of flying on
fighter air crafts
He is a qualified Flying Instructor
and was sent on deputation to the
Government of Iraq in 1970-71 as part
of the Indian Training Team. He also
served as part of UN Forces in Belgian
Congo in 1961-1962.
In the Indian Air Force he has held
several key staff and command appointments
including Air Officer Commanding J&K.
he retired as Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief,
Eastern Air Command.
While in the IAF he qualified the
Senior Defense Management Course and
the National Defense College Course.
For his services of an exceptional
order he has been awarded the Param
Vashist Seva Medal, The Vayu Sena
Medal and The Vashist Seva Medal.
Dushyant Singh by his dynamism and
dedication has distinguished himself
as an Old Boy Of the Scindia School.
The Scindia School confers on Dushyant
Singh the Madhav Award as an Old Boy
Of Eminence for the year 1998.
