Natwar
Singh
has been consistently making very rich
and singular contributions to the formation
of India's Foreign Policy as a distinguished
member of the Indian Foreign Service.
During 1983 he was assigned the responsibility
of organizing the 7th Nonaligned Meet
(NAM) as its Secretary General and was
the Chief Coordinator for the Commonwealth
Heads of Government meet (CHOGAM), assignments
which conducted with efficiency and
distinction.
In 1984 he was awarded the Padma Bhushan.
He has also made a mark in the field
of English Literature by authoring books
and articles published in India and
abroad.
K. Natwar Singh has thus distinguished
himself as an Eminent Old Boy of the
Scindia School.
The Scindia School confers on K. Natwar
Singh the Madhav Award as an Old Boy
of Distinction for the year 1984.
