The Arabian horse today is a legend, evoking images of ancient legends, grace and strength. One imagines it?s galloping, its soft mane, and elegant tail streaming as it flies across. Grooming a horse requires skill, experience and knowing your horse?s temperament. Experienced long distance riders may journey more than 20,000 miles on the horse's back. Several long distance journeys across the world may planned across the horse?s back.
With horse riding it doesn?t matter whether you are a beginner or an experienced rider. There is wide range of opportunities to learn like trekking on the horse back: fort paths, dunes, field areas around the fort wall covered with varied flora altogether or places with cultural significance, connected with famous people from history like Maharajas and Maharanis. Nature has a different face for each season- the break of day, dawn, sunset, and nightfall are unforgettable experiences with your new friend, the horse. If you are a beginner, you may go on a two week riding camp or take elementary training in a riding school under the supervision of experienced trainers and the riding in charge. Once again, you have acquired a new experience ? you can ride a horse and enjoy the beauty of the nature from a somewhat elevated position and with a different slant from the usual.
Take a guided trail ride of the circular road along the fort wall at a carefree, relaxed pace. Quiet, open place and sometimes steep, tar paths highlights this fun adventure. Breathtaking views and glimpses of nature also accent this adventure. Nothing beats exploring the fort wall on the horse's back
The school owns ten horses Maharaja, Abu, Rocket, Jessica, Sounder, Classic, Beauty, International, Bullet, Rajni and Tughlak. And the students have taken to the sport with marked enthusiasm. Many children opt for the sport and they have already been introduced to walking, trotting, cantering and galloping techniques in horse riding besides equitation, snow jumping, and dressage. Some of the students have also participated in an internal competitions and the school plans for competitions at higher levels.
The main idea is to inculcate in the children the idea of horse riding and not only an event for fun. They are encouraged to watch horse riding events and also been taken to stud farms for exposure. Our instructors today teach lightness in riding rather than forcing them. As we believe that 90% of the riders are behind the motion of the horse, we try and teach the riders how to free up a horse?s movement by riding with the horse motion, to stay in what is called as dynamic balance with the horse.
