It is impossible to reduce the life and
spirit of a school like Scindia to the pages
of books. Quality of expression cannot be
brought forth by mere class discussions,
hence societies and hobbies give opportunities
to students to open up, without being conscious
of their abiding presence of a teacher to
monitor. Societies and hobbies are organized
entirely by students at Scindia. Teachers
remain much in the background. Weekly debates,
street plays, quizzes, cartoons, elocution,
all go a long way to enable a student to
develop his own expression. At a very impressionable
age a student matures through communication
and expression of ideas voiced in his peer
group. He learns the norms and taboos of
School culture and gets help to firm up
his own personality. All are encouraged
to achieve their potential.
