There
are around 40 students in this society.
They play orchestra thrice a week in the school assembly. They perform orchestra
on special Astachals. The society also takes part in competitions and cultural
meets. They also put up many Musical evenings. During the course of the year
like on Ganesh Chaturthi, Basant Panchmi etc. Music society organizes Inter House
Suman Wahal Music compedition in solo singing, group singing and orchestra.
Thay play a special orchestra on the Founder's Day which is about 12-15 minutes
long. In this orchestra nearly hundred students take part.
There are many instruments like Sarod, Sitar, Violin, Mandolin, Hawain, Guitar,
Spanish Guitar, Harmonium, Banjo, Xylophone, Jaz Drum, Congo, Bongo, Tabla, Keyboard
and Octapad. |
