There are 13 boys from class 7th to class 12th in the photography department. 4 days a week boys come for their hobby during afternoons. Every boy has his own S.L.R Camera. When a boy joins photography department he is taught about speed, aperture and other features of the camera. He, along with his senior fellow member works and also is given formal lessons of photography. Thus he picks up and develops an eye for photography and learns to capture light and shadow. Every year the department puts up an exhibition on the Founder's Day. Boys of the department go for outings and work on given projects. Thus in addition to photography they also learn about the people and their lifestyle in villages. The basic objective of these outings is to make the boy aware of the outer world and nature and give them a break from their routine life.

Black and White negatives are developed by the boys and after selecting the negatives boys only print them for display. The department has 8H and 12H dark room with safe lights, Black and White enlarger, timer. The department also has a mini studio with Problitz 300D lights, which helps the boys to learn to click portraits and still life photography. Various school functions and activities are photographed by the boys of the department. The photography department has been producing calendars and greetings for the school every year. This year the theme of the School Calendar produced by the photography department is "INVOCATION"
