SCHOLARSHIP ADMISSION TEST 2008

Established in 1897 and geographically situated at the heart of India , The Scindia School is about the spirit of India . This spirit, that makes human beings humane, pervades the school, moulding scholars to steer India in her path of progress. The school is located atop the historical Gwalior Fort, in about 110 Hectares of beautiful and open campus, offering majestic views and a vibrant learning environment to nearly 600 students and 60 teachers.
The School announces its' Scholarship Admission Test on Saturday, 9TH February 2008 from 10 a.m. at Delhi, Calcutta, Mumbai, Lucknow and Gwalior centres for admission to Classes VI, VII and VIII. Based on the performance in the written test, boys will be short listed for an Interactive Session in the School. The final selection will be based on the performance in written test as well as Interactive Session. The boys who are between the age of 11 and 13 years as on 1 st January 2008 will be eligible to appear in the test. Criteria for grant of scholarship will be as follows:-

70-74% marks 15% Scholarship on school fee
75-84% marks 25% Scholarship on school fee
85% and above marks 40% Scholarship on school fee

The written test will be conducted for one hour each in English, Mathematics and Hindi. The syllabi for the test will be the CBSE course for Classes V, VI and VII. Interested parents may download the application form from our website www.scindia.edu and send it to Principal, The Scindia School, Fort, Gwalior after filling in the required details latest by 31st January 2008 . The Application Form can also be obtained from the school by sending a DD of Rs. 750/- in favour of Principal, The Scindia School, payable at Gwalior .
