 An Overview :

Mahadaji Shinde (1730– February 12 , 1794 ), (also known as Mahadaji Sindhia or Mahadji Scindia), was a Maratha ruler of the state of Gwalior in central India . Mahadaji was instrumental in resurrecting Maratha power after the debacle of the Third Battle of Panipat in 1761, and rose to become a trusted lieutenant of the Peshwa , leader of the Maratha Confederacy , as well as the Mughal emperor Shah Alam II . During his reign, Gwalior became the leading state in the Maratha Confederacy and one of the foremost military powers in India.

House news :

The year started with a vibrant flow with 13 new siblings joining the house and thus making the house strength to 52. The Mahadjian reign is led under the guidance of Mr.Ashokshiv Raman and Yugam Bhimsaria and Viraj Kohli were appointed as the School Prefect of our house for the year 2011-12.Ankit Kasera and Raghav Ramraika were appointed as the house prefects. Mr. Parampreet singh Grewal is now the new resident tutor of Mahadji house.Our house is the envy of other houses as we get the miraculous view of the city including The Royal Jaivilas Palace.
