77th Republic Day Celebrations
28 January 2026

The Scindia School marked 77th Republic Day with the unfurling of the Tricolour and patriotic zeal. Adding special warmth to the cold morning of 26 January, the distinguished Old Boys of the 1976 batch, brimming with enthusiasm and youthful energy, proudly participated in the march past along with the contingents of various houses. Principal Mr Ajay Singh warmly welcomed the Chief Guest, Prof Vivek Sarkar—an alumnus of the 1976 batch and Dean of Computing at Georgia Tech. In his address, Prof Sarkar reflected on Republic Day as a celebration of the values enshrined in our Constitution—peaceful coexistence, integrity, loyalty, and patriotism—evoking waves of nostalgia and reminding all of the importance of making the right choices.
The march past was followed by the planting of saplings at Astachal, inspiring readings, and the rendition of soulful bhajan, lending a serene and reflective close to the celebrations. The programme concluded with a warm breakfast in the lawns of the Principal’s residence, where the Batch of 1976 was presented with mementoes, making the morning truly memorable.
