After the promotion exams, a group of Class VIII students participated in an enriching five-day adventure camp at Pench Wildlife Sanctuary following their departure from the Zilpi Lake Adventure Camp. The camp offered a well-balanced programme of outdoor exploration, environmental learning, and cultural exposure.
The students took part in a range of activities including nature treks, bird-watching sessions, wildlife safaris, and interactive workshops on birds, insects, butterflies, snakes, and wild mammals. These sessions encouraged curiosity and helped students develop a deeper understanding of biodiversity and conservation.
The programme also included creative and group-based activities that promoted teamwork, observation, and communication skills. During the safaris, students had the opportunity to observe various animals and birds in their natural habitat.
An additional highlight was a visit to a nearby village, where students interacted with local artisans and learned about traditional pottery and rural livelihoods. Evening activities such as quizzes, role-plays, music, dance, and a folk performance by tribal artists added a cultural and recreational dimension to the camp.
