Stealing hearts instead of gold, Robin Hood and His Merry Men lit up the stage of the Open Air Theatre on the evening of 24th April 2026 with wit, adventure, and spirited performances. The annual English play transported the audience to the legendary world of Sherwood Forest, where courage, friendship, and justice triumphed over greed and tyranny.
From the noble and mischievous Robin Hood and his loyal band of Merry Men to the scheming Sheriff of Nottingham, the graceful Maid Marian, and the comically crafty Prince John, every character was brought to life with flair, confidence, and remarkable stage presence by the young Scindians. Their lively dialogue delivery, expressive acting, and infectious enthusiasm kept the audience thoroughly engaged throughout the performance.
The production was a fine showcase of the students’ talent, teamwork, and dedication, reflecting weeks of sincere effort and preparation. The costumes, staging, and seamless coordination added greatly to the charm of the evening, making it a delightful theatrical experience for all present.
Warm applause to our talented young actors, and special congratulations to director Ms Sneha Bhagat and the English Department for presenting a truly memorable and entertaining production.
