The Scindia School Clinches Victory in the H.H. Maharaja Madhavrao Scindia Memorial Cricket Tournament for second consecutive year! The 20th edition of the HH Maharaja Madhav Rao Scindia Memorial Cricket Tournament commenced on 28th March, 2025 at The Scindia School with vibrant ceremonies and high-spirited matches. Eight schools participated in the prestigious tournament. The opening day featured a grand inauguration with a flag-bearing event and torch relay, symbolizing the values of leadership and sportsmanship. Chief Guest Mr. Harvinder Singh Sodhi (ex-Ranoji, 1989), former first-class cricketer, motivated young players with insights on perseverance and dedication. In the opening match, The Scindia School defeated YPS Mohali by 131 runs, driven by standout performances from Shresth Agarwal, Devraj Singh, and Rishit Sharma. The second match saw Genesis Global School triumph over YPS Patiala, with key contributions from Ranveer and Nirvaan. The tournament concluded on 2nd April, 2025, with an intense final between The Scindia School and MNSS Rai. Scindia posted 114/8 and bowled out MNSS for 73, winning by 41 runs. Abhijay and Manikanta led the bowling attack. The closing ceremony, graced by Chief Guest Mr.Rajesh Mishra, celebrated players’ achievements and emphasized the role of sports in building character.
