The Scindia Literary Festival from 14th to 16th November, 2025 brought three days of lively discussions, author interactions, and vibrant storytelling to the Fort. The festival opened with a lamp-lighting ceremony graced by the Irish Ambassador, Mr Kevin Kelly, who spoke about the shared literary heritage of India and Ireland. His presence set a reflective tone for the days ahead.
Students then engaged with a distinguished lineup of authors. Ms Abha Sharma (The True Happiness Book) spoke to students of Grades 6–12 about empathy, emotional wellbeing, and the importance of lifelong learning. Ms Divya Jain (The Champion Within) followed with an inspiring session on resilience, mindset, and mental strength.
Day 2 featured an energetic workshop by Ms Mudita Mubayi and Mr Adittya Mubayi (Mythonama) for Grades 6–8. Through riddles and puzzles, they turned mythology into an exciting, interactive experience for young learners.
On the final day, author and chef Mr Sadaf Hussain (Masala Mandi) introduced students to the world of food writing, exploring how flavours, memory, and culture come together to tell powerful stories. His session concluded with an enthusiastic interaction in the library.
The festival also showcased works by Ms Jayantika Dave (Each Little Bird That Sings) and Mr Deepak Dalal (Vikramaditya Series), encouraging further reading across campus. The students were also able to get their copies of the books signed by the authors.
The three-day celebration successfully nurtured curiosity, creativity, and a deeper love for literature, leaving students inspired by the power of stories and ideas.
