Mindfulness workshop

In a refreshing pause from our busy routines, our teachers embarked on a two-day journey of mindfulness and self-discovery, guided by resource person Mr. Sounak Chakraborty. The workshop was a deeply enriching experience that went beyond conventional training. Rooted in the principles of mindfulness, neuroscience, and Emotional Intelligence, the sessions focused on cultivating present-moment awareness and responding thoughtfully rather than reacting impulsively.
Teachers actively participated in practices such as mindful listening, mindful eating, and mindful conversation, which encouraged greater attentiveness and intentionality in everyday interactions. These exercises highlighted how awareness can transform routine moments into meaningful experiences.
A key aspect of the workshop was self-compassion, guiding participants to replace self-judgment with kindness and understanding. Through the Head–Body–Heart check-in practices, teachers explored the alignment of thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations, fostering deeper self-awareness. Guided meditation and reflective journaling further strengthened this inward journey.
The workshop created a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space where teachers felt comfortable sharing and reflecting. A digital detox during sessions ensured complete engagement.
By the end of the two days, participants felt calmer, centred, and purposeful, reaffirming that authentic leadership and meaningful growth begin within.
