The Scindia School successfully organised the Scindia Intra School Model United Nations 2025 from 2nd to 3rd December on the majestic Fort campus, providing a platform for students to engage in global diplomacy and critical policymaking.
The conference was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Mr. Aditya Shankar Prasad, a renowned Supreme Court lawyer and proud alumnus of the school, who addressed the delegates with an inspiring message on leadership, legal awareness and global citizenship.
The event featured five diverse and intellectually stimulating committees. The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) debated the control of non-state armed groups and private military companies in modern warfare to maintain global peace. United Nations Women (UNW) deliberated on promoting equal political representation and leadership opportunities for women to ensure inclusive societies. The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) tackled the challenges of the dark web nexus and the financial networks enabling transnational crime. In Lok Sabha, delegates examined the sensitive and nationally significant question of whether India should implement a Uniform Civil Code — discussing whether it would strengthen equality or undermine cultural and religious diversity. Meanwhile, the high-intensity FBI Special Cabinet, functioning as a crisis committee, navigated the complexity of organised crime revolving around the notorious Five Families of New York.
Over two days of rigorous debate, strategic negotiations and constructive policymaking, the young delegates demonstrated exemplary research skills, diplomacy and teamwork, making the conference a truly enriching learning experience. The closing ceremony honoured outstanding delegates who showcased exceptional analytical depth and leadership.
The Scindia Intra School MUN 2025 stood as a proud reflection of the school’s commitment to nurturing aware, articulate and responsible leaders of tomorrow who are ready to shape a better world.
