SOBA Presidents’ Conclave – Kolkata Chapter

The Scindia School Old Boys’ Association (SOBA) successfully hosted the Second Edition of the SOBA Presidents’ Conclave – Kolkata Chapter from 9 to 11 January 2026, bringing together Presidents and senior representatives from SOBA chapters across India and overseas. The conclave marked an important moment in SOBA’s 66-year journey, reaffirming the enduring partnership between alumni leadership and The Scindia School.
The conclave provided a dynamic platform for strategic dialogue, collaboration, and reflection, focusing on strengthening alumni engagement, enhancing inter-chapter coordination, and reinforcing SOBA’s role in supporting the School’s vision and legacy. A key session held on 10 January 2026 from 1:30 PM onwards witnessed active participation and meaningful deliberations on the future direction of alumni-led initiatives.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Mr Ajay Singh remarked, “The strength of The Scindia School lies not only in its legacy but in the continued commitment of its alumni. SOBA’s leadership plays a vital role in shaping responsible, value-driven institutions that serve society at large.” He further added, “This conclave reflects the shared responsibility of our Old Boys to guide, mentor, and inspire future generations.”
The event received extensive media coverage, with 38 media representatives from leading print, digital, and broadcast platforms. The successful conclave reaffirmed the unity, vision, and collective resolve of the Scindia fraternity in carrying forward the School’s legacy of excellence and leadership.
