Visit of H.E. Mariano Agustín Caucino, Ambassador of Argentina

On 3rd September 2025, The Scindia School had the privilege of hosting His Excellency Mariano Agustín Caucino, Ambassador of Argentina to India, along with his wife. During the visit, the Ambassador engaged in an insightful discussion with the Principal, Mr. Ajay Singh. The conversation touched upon several key areas of collaboration, including cultural exchanges, the possibility of inviting faculty from Argentina, exploring opportunities for sports exchanges, highlighting the importance of learning the Spanish language, and fostering stronger ties between The Scindia School and leading schools in Argentina.
His Excellency Mariano Agustín Caucino is a distinguished Argentine lawyer, historian, and diplomat. A graduate of the University of Buenos Aires (2001), he has specialized in the study of international relations. His illustrious career includes serving as Ambassador of Argentina to Costa Rica (2016–2017) and to the State of Israel (2017–2019), before being appointed as the Ambassador of Argentina to India in 2024. He is also the founder and director of the School of Political Science and Government at UCES, a professor of Foreign Policy and Contemporary History, and a respected columnist on global affairs in Argentina, Latin America, the US, and Israel.
The visit was an enriching experience for the school community and marked a significant step towards building long-term academic, cultural, and sports collaborations between India and Argentina, in alignment with the school’s vision of nurturing globally aware and future-ready students.
