Scindians Celebrate Sonsa Day

Sonsa Day is observed on the second Sunday of February every year. The main aim is to motivate the children from Sonsa by organizing activities and games for them. Events are also held for women and senior citizens and children from Jaraga and Badholi apart from Nathokapura. the chief guest on this occasion was Shri Bhujbal Singh, President, Zila Panchayat. Under the leadership of Dr B S Bhakuni many faculty members and some boys went to Nathokapura to celebrate Sonsa Day. The boys clapped, cheered and waved as the young children of the village took part in various games. The faculty members showed their solidarity with the villagers by their presence and made them feel special. In all it was an interesting day and the boys returned with a deep feeling of love and respect for the residents of this village.
