Ice Breaker On First Weekend For Students Of Junior Houses

All students of classes VI and VII went for an outing to Orchha as part of `Know your friends’ initiative by the school from 4th to 5th July 2015 by bus. It was a three hour drive to Orchha. Since Orchha has a historical significance hence it became necessary to introduce this ancient and majestic city to the new boys. The 107 students went for site seeing along with a certified guide. The boys were escorted by their respective house masters along with the matrons and house servants. They were briefed about the historical facts related to the fort. The students listened with rapt attention and went around the fort while the House Masters and matrons kept a vigilant eye on them. In the evening they saw the light and sound show at the fort and were mesmerized by the amazing show. The stay at a grand hotel added to their comfort while they interacted with each other informally. The boys bonded very well with the teachers and matrons apart from fellow Scindians. It was a good ice breaker and the boys felt fresh after their return in the afternoon on 5th July 2015.
