DEUTSCH-INDISCHES KLASSENZIMMER

Scindia School – Gwalior

The Scindia School in collaboration with Fontane Gymnasium Germany initiated a project “Das Lebenselixier Wasser” in August 2012. The project was funded and supported by Robert Bosch Foundation. Nineteen students and two teachers from the German School (Fontane Gymnasium) visited The Scindia School from 17th October 2012 to 30th October 2012. The student delegates and the teachers of both schools worked collectively on the project and came up with many interesting findings related to different aspects of water. A group of 20 students visited the Fontane Gymnasium in May 2013.

The year 2014 saw the two schools working together again on the project Plants: Life Giving. The German delegation visited us in October 2014. Through visits, talks and group activities sensitivity towards plants and related issues was created. Our students went to Germany in June, 2015 for the second and final phase of the yearlong project.
