Career Cell

The School has a robust Career counselling cell which helps to create awareness amongst students so that they are in a position to make informed choices. It serves a number of functions.

  1. Provide students with information regarding current career trends
  2. Provide students with information regarding choice of subjects
  3. Facilitate Career seminars by Professionals in the field
  4. Facilitate Career Aptitude tests by Professionals in the field and interpretation. Ensure the information is conveyed to all the stakeholders i.e. the student, Parent and School
  5. Ensure Universities within India and Overseas make presentation to students on a regular basis
  6. Help students draw out plans for their careers
  7. Help students access and fill in forms for Universities within India and Overseas get them to begin the process well in time so that they do not miss out deadline
  8. Keep students abreast of deadlines for various Universities
  9. Begins in class eight by telling students about the requirements for universities so that they do not foreclose options.
  10. Speak to parents during Parent Teacher Meetings about Careers
  11. Liaise with Old Boys and others to help students with summer internships.


The Career Cell has a Career Counsellor and a Teacher In-Charge to guide students with regards to their future career prospects. Students in Class X are given guidance for making suitable subject choices for senior classes, aided by a firm that conducts aptitude, personality assessment and counselling.

Class XI and XII students are given information about broader career and college options than is conventional and are helped with their applications. ‘Admizzionz Campuz’, a Delhi based firm, provides guidance, updates and admissions’ counselling for Indian Universities.  Students are helped at all stages with their statements of purpose, selection of universities and applications to foreign universities by the Career Cell.

The highlight of the Career Cell is that it guides students throughout school to help them focus on the right kind of skills, readings and exposure that would help them build their profile for admissions to various universities as well as for their careers.
