The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated on the Fort with great enthusiasm. The custom of Ganesh Sthapna was observed amidst the customary puja, bhajans and chanting of shlokas. The School compound reverberated with positivity, as the community sang the aarti in chorus. As customary, the next day the idol was taken to Suraj Kund for visarjan, where it was immersed in water with hearts full of gratitude for a fulfilling year and prayers on the lips inviting Ganpati, the God of good fortune to bless the community with his presence.
