The morning of 2nd October, marking the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, was observed with great reverence and community spirit, facilitated by our Social Service League. The celebrations began with soulful renditions of songs by villagers from Sonsa as part of the Shramjeevi programme. Students also played Bhajan. Community Service Students served food to villagers from Sonsa and extended their service to the supporting staff of The Scindia School, experiencing firsthand the joy and dignity of selfless giving. Such interactions offer valuable lessons in humility, compassion, and the importance of community service—values that lie at the heart of both Gandhiji’s and Lal Bahadur Shastri’s lives.<br>
In the evening, a special assembly was held, featuring readings from the lives of these two great leaders, along with the devotional songs Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram and Vaishnav Jan to, which filled the atmosphere with peace and reverence.
