A joyful and creative Dreamcatcher Making Activity was organized in the Junior Houses on 27th July 2025 for students of Classes 6 to 8, conducted by Ms. Sagarika Pradhan, Special Educator. The objective was to enhance students' creativity and fine motor skills while giving them a chance to engage in a meaningful and fun craft activity.
Students were first introduced to the cultural significance of dreamcatchers, believed to bring good dreams and positive energy. After a short demonstration, the students enthusiastically began making their own dreamcatchers using rings, wool, threads, beads, and feathers.
This activity held a special purpose — the dreamcatchers were made as a gift for their lovable ones, especially with Raksha Bandhan approaching. Students added personal touches with colors and decorations, making their creations thoughtful and full of emotion.
The session was filled with excitement, learning, and creativity. It helped the students express themselves artistically and emotionally. Overall, the activity was a great success and left the students with a sense of pride and joy in making something beautiful for someone they care about.
