Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations

On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, 28th August 2025, the Bank courtyard of The Scindia School was transformed into a sacred space as students, staff, and their families gathered for the Ganesh Sthapna celebrations. The event radiated devotion, joy, and a deep sense of togetherness within the Scindian community. The proceedings began with a traditional puja led by the Principal, Mr. Ajay Singh, who offered prayers to Lord Ganesha. The school community took their turns in offering prayers. The school choir added to the sanctity of the atmosphere with soulful devotional songs. Following the rituals, the congregation received the much-awaited prasad of panjeeri and charanamrit.
The following day, the beautifully adorned idol, which had graced the courtyard, was carried in a vibrant procession to Suraj Kund. The air resonated with the rhythmic beats of dhol, energetic dances of the students, and the spirited chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya.”
At Suraj Kund, the idol was immersed with reverence, marking the cycle of creation and dissolution—an eternal reminder of life’s impermanence. As the idol gently merged with the waters, it felt as though Lord Ganesha was returning to his celestial abode, leaving behind his blessings of wisdom and prosperity.
The celebration of Ganesh Sthapna went beyond religious ritual; it embodied the school’s dedication to nurturing community, culture, and tradition among its students.
