The Teachers’ Day assembly began in the morning with the felicitation of Mrs. Madhu Tewari, Mr. Abhimanyu Tewari (Ex-MJ, 2000), and Ms. Aditi Tewari, the family members of Late Mr. N. K. Tewari, Former Principal, Ex-House Master of Mahadji House, and Faculty of Chemistry. The Principal Mr. Ajay Singh extended a warm welcome to the Tewari family and highlighted the remarkable contributions of Late Mr. Tewari to the institution.
A special presentation recalled his significant role as House Master of Mahadji House and later as Principal. It was also announced that a trophy for the Suryodaya IT Fest has been instituted in his name by SOBA, recognizing his efforts in initiating the school’s journey into the field of Information Technology.Mr. Rahul Kulshreshtha, Former President of SOBA, paid tribute to Late Mr. Tewari.
The afternoon was filled with fun and laughter as Class 12 students organized engaging activities specially for the teachers, who participated with great enthusiasm and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The evening came alive with a high-energy performance by the Psyx band, followed by captivating student dances that mesmerized the audience and kept everyone enthralled. What truly set this celebration apart was a light-hearted and unconventional award ceremony, where students were presented with humorous and quirky awards, adding a delightful twist that had everyone in splits.
