The English Annual Play, staged on April 26 at SMOAT, brought alive the timeless tale of The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. The gripping adaptation presented by the English Department explored deep themes of duality and inner conflict, leaving the audience spellbound and emotionally stirred. Through seamless transitions between the two characters, evocative props, and haunting music, the students demonstrated remarkable acting and storytelling finesse. The use of lights of different colours which mirrored the acts, made the play more gripping.
