His Highness Maharaja Madhav Rao Scindia Memorial Inter-School Hindi Debate saw participation from as many as ten eminent schools from the length and breadth of the country. The debate was organised in two stages, eliminating four teams in the first stage. The final round was held on Sunday, the 30th of September 2018. The topic for this round was “Vartman mein digital India Bharat kay liye ek sahi kadam hai.” The stimulating arguments presented by the teams kept the august gathering engaged while the motion moved before the house. All the teams indulged in a neck-to-neck competition making it a tough call for the judges. The Scindia School, Gwalior and Saina International School, Katni were adjudged as the winning team and the runner-up, respectively. As the host School was not competing for the winning trophy, thereby it was handed over to Saina International School, Katni as per protocol. The Chief Guest, Dr Chandra Bhushan Jha was elated to witness a qualitative event and complimented the participants for their exemplary performance. Meghna Dubey of Saina International School, Katni was adjudicated as the Best Speaker of the prestigious event. Dr Chitra Singh Bankawat, Vice Principal Academics expressed her gratitude towards the dignitaries and the participants. The programme ended with the prize distribution ceremony and a humble vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Manoj Mishra, Head [Department of Hindi].
