Mr Kamlesh Singh

He joined the Department of Psychology at The Scindia School in 2007. He has previously worked in the Air force school, Gwalior, and taught as visiting faculty in Jiwaji University, Gwalior.

A post-graduate in Psychology, Mr Singh has qualified for the NET exam conducted by UGC. He has been awarded a letter of appreciation from the HRD Ministry, Government of India, for his exemplary performance in the CBSE Class 12 results (Psychology).

Like a true public-school teacher, he has lent his expertise in different areas like career counselling, pastoral care (House Master) and as Master-in-charge of hockey, Inquisitive Society, and film making. Mr Singh likes to interact with students at different levels, for he believes this helps to forge a strong bond between the teachers and students in a residential school. The dialogue also helps the students to express their problems easily. His other interests are reading, quizzing, playing sports (squash, cricket, swimming, hockey), music, etc.

He believes that students of The Scindia School are like clay that can be moulded very easily. He also feels that the school provides an excellent atmosphere for students to thrive in the present competitive world.
