15th January issue of School Review

This was the 4th consecutive RS service project in Nathon-Ka-Pura. It is a 60 year old village which has about 100 families or in other words, a population of about 1500 people. The entire village now lives in abject poverty as they lost their main occupation of snake charming due to a government ban on the same several years ago. Seeing the state of affairs in the village, The Scindia School decided to extend support to these villagers in every possible way. School has promoted infrastructural development, hygiene and sanitation, education and health awareness. School has also triggered a positive social change through economic empowerment of village women by teaching certain art work and skills through which they can get a permanent source of income.Click here to read the review.
