Mr Vishesh Sahai

Mr Vishesh Sahai started his professional career as an Economics teacher with The Scindia School in 2001, soon after completing his Post-Graduation in Economics. He also completed his B.Ed. from IGNOU in 2008. He was the Housemaster of Ranoji House.
Mr Sahai likes to make friends and loves travelling. He is a keen sportsman with special interest in Yoga, Tennis, Cricket and Swimming. He also likes to sing and play the Guitar. His love for cooking led him to initiate the ‘Food and Hospitality’ hobby in school, which is now much sought-after. He was the Staff Editor of the school’s fortnightly newsletter – Review; perhaps the only one outside of the English Department ever. He was the Master in-charge of Tennis, is a member of the International Exchange committee and the Round Square committee. His students like him for his emotional connectedness and colleagues find in him a sincere and trustworthy friend. He describes himself as somebody who never regrets the past and always looks ahead in life. He wants the students to be away from the ‘rat race’ and instead become lifelong learners in fields of their own interest. The wonderful life on the fort and the satisfaction of contributing in the lives of youngsters motivates him to be a teacher.

Mr Shailesh Agarwal

Mr Shailesh Agarwal, from the faculty of Commerce, has been working with the Scindia School since December 2010. He has a master’s degree in Commerce and has also qualified the prestigious SLET exam of Jharkhand, conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service commission. Mr Agarwal has a rich 15 years experience of working in various reputed schools in different parts of the country.

He also has a passion for exploring new places and loves listening to music. As the Master in Charge of the Business Bee Club of the school he has been able to provide a platform for the future entrepreneurs.

An excellent teacher he has also received a letter of appreciation from the Ministry of Human Resources, Government of India. His desire is to contribute meaningfully to the lives of students so that they shine in whichever field they choose for themselves.

Mr Manas Mukhoti

He brings with him an experience of almost two decades. He has taught students of CBSE, ISC, ICSE and IB boards across India. Mr Mukhoti has done Masters in Economics (with International Trade and Econometrics as Specialization) with DCA and B.Ed. He is also qualified in College Service Commission Exam (SLET) accredited by UGC with Mathematical Economics as a Special paper. Earlier, he has worked as a Lecturer in Economics in J.V.M. Meheta College, Airoli, Navi Mumbai and in Sankar Narayan College, Bhayandar, West Mumbai. Before joining The Scindia School, he was working as the Chair of Economics (HOD, Economics) in The Assam Valley School, Assam. He has also been an IB examiner for Economics for last 6 years and is known for igniting a drive in his students to excel.

Mr Sumit Chakrabarty

He has a rich experience of 22 years in the field of academics with institutions of repute. As a Faculty of Economics and a Facilitator, Mr Chakrabarty has worked with students of ICSE, ISC, CBSE, IGCSE, IB and MBA across India.

In his last assignment he has served as Head of the Department – Economics, Member of the Academic Advisory Committee, Member of Guidance & Counselling Committee (For Boarders) and was an active member of the POCSO Committee.

A Masters in Economics with specialisation in “International Finance & Monetary System and Industrial Economics” from Banaras Hindu University, he has also successfully completed his “Masters Diploma in Business Administration” with dual specialisation in Human Resource Management & Financial Management.

His hobby is to read & write articles and analyse the ‘Changing Roles of Man Management’ universally.

Mr Ashok Shivaraman

He joined The Scindia School in July 2008, although he began his teaching career in 1997. Mr Shivaraman is not only a Post-Graduate in Commerce, but has done a Post-Graduation in Economics and B.Ed. He teaches Accountancy and Business Studies. His colleagues find in him an understanding and a supportive Head, who also brings fairness and a touch of professionalism in the working of the department. As an academician, he aims to impart to the students, skills to comprehend and analyse events in an effort to rationalise phenomena and to build critical thinking skills. In addition to his academic role, he has regularly contributed in the running of the ‘Inquisitive Society’ which organizes various types of quizzes and promotes curiosity amongst students. He has been the Housemaster of Mahadji House from 2010-2014.

He believes in making the students imbibe values of righteousness, to enable them to become true citizens of the world. He firmly believes in and works towards creating a healthy learner- centered environment in which every child is genuinely respected and heard. The prolific praise that he receives from his students motivates and inspires him.

In his free time, he enjoys reading, gardening, cooking and listening to music.
